Austin ClawsonDirector of Special Education
Austin Clawson grew up in Ramah and has lived in the area most of his life. After graduating from Ramah High School he served a 2 year Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taiwan.
After his mission, he returned home and married his childhood friend and started his college education. He has come from a family of educators and has made the decision to carry on the tradition. After completing his undergraduate college education from NMSU he returned home and started his career in education in 2009 as a Special Education teacher at Ramah High School.
He has recently joined the administration team here in Zuni and has enjoyed the change in pace. Austin enjoys all sports and outdoors activities and he also enjoys being able to give back to his community and area by being a positive influence in kids lives. He lives in Ramah with his wife and four children where they as a family enjoy raising horses and doing many activities as a family from traveling to sporting events. He is thrilled to be able to be part of the Zuni Public School District and looks forward to all he can learn from and to those he can serve. |
