New Mexico Pre-K Program

The District was awarded $98,000.00 for the school year 2020-2021.  This program is a competitive grant and its purpose is to:

• increase access to voluntary high-quality pre-kindergarten learning
• provide developmentally appropriate activities for New Mexico children
• expand early childhood community capacity
• support linguistically and culturally appropriate curriculum

Grant Money

• One full day program for 20 students
• One certified Teachers, and one Educational Assistant are funded by this grant
• supplies and materials for student learning

Collaboration with the Zuni Tribal Head Start has been approved and funded as well, for shared professional development activities.
