Department of Operational Support Services
The Support Services Department consists of three sections: Facilities and Operations; Transportation; and Food Services. Our responsibilities in support of the students and staff of the District include maintenance of the physical plant and management of the facilities; transportation of students to and from school and activity travel; and providing nutritious breakfast and lunches at all of the school sites. In addition, the department is responsible for safety and security across the District, contracting and procurement district-wide, and operation of the central warehouse.

Hello, my name is Mark Archuleta, and I come from a little village called Rowe, NM nestled at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains East of Santa Fe. I was born and raised in this beautiful and mountainous area that resembles Zuni.
After attending High School in Pecos, I decided to follow in my mother’s footsteps and become an educator. While at New Mexico Highlands University, the opportunity to become a student Senator arose. I began to listen to fellow students, and coordinate different student events.
After receiving a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Education, I became a teacher at Santa Fe Public Schools, West Las Vegas Valley Schools, Pecos Independent Schools, Pojoaque Valley Schools, and also at Tierra Encantada Charter School.
I have also served as Athletic Director, Head Baseball coach, Head Basketball coach, Track coach, Cross country coach, and softball coach at the above-mentioned school sites.
It is my intent to be an agent of change, collaborate, and build a unified team here at Zuni where our students come first.
