The Zuni Public School District receives funding from the Bureau of Indian Education to operate programs for children aged three years through grade 12.


Program funds provide:
 

  • Educational Assistants' salaries at Shiwi Ts’ana and Zuni High School

  • student school supplies

  • travel and training for Parent Advisory Committee members

  • an annual Student Recognition Awards Banquet for the six schools in Zuni, including ZCRM and SAS nominated students

 

Grant Money

 
The District received $177,687.00 for the 2020-2021 school year.  Funds for this money are generated for this program through the number of Certificates of Indian Blood (C.I.B.) that the District collects from families.
