Message from the Bilingual/Title III Program Director,
At Zuni Public Schools we are committed to providing language support that meets the individual needs of all our students. We will provide opportunities for students to become multilingual and focused attention on the Zuni language being used regularly on all of our campuses. We believe that students will better understand their own history and culture when they have a firm grasp on their language.

Mr. Dashner grew up and attended school in a small community in Southern Indiana. After graduating college with a degree in Elementary Education he returned home and taught 5th grade in his home town of Washington, Indiana.
After serving several years as a classroom teacher, Mr. Dashner decided to expand his horizons and moved to Namibia, Africa to work with schools, building computer labs and training teachers how to use technology in the classroom.

In his spare time Mr. Dashner enjoys spending time with his wife Kristen, a principal in Gallup and their two sons. He also enjoys almost every kind of outdoor activity including mountain biking, skiing, hiking, climbing and kayaking.
