Dear Parents,

This note is to ask all parents to provide us information for our Title VIII (Impact Aid) Student
Survey form.

Each year our school district gets Title VIII funding based on the number of forms we receive back from parents for our Impact Aid Application. We will include the information from the student survey forms for our Title VIII application which is due on or about January 31, 2021.

Impact Aid funds generate funding for our school district to provide quality education to our children living on Indian/Federal Lands. Zuni Public School District is eligible to receive Impact Aid Funds due to not having a "tax base". We rely on the Federal government to provide us these funds for our students' educational needs. That is why it is very important to fill out, sign, date and return the form to your child's school by October 30, 2020.

Our Federal Programs Department has provided a SAMPLE on the backside of this PARENT LETTER to show you how to fill out the form.
