Anita Baisley has been actively involved in education for over 16 years as a tutor, teacher and administrator. Her experience includes teaching regular education in California as well as teaching special education on the Apache and Navajo Reservations. She also directed the Special Education Department at Wingate High School for the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

Currently, she is the Assistant Principal of Zuni High School, and directs the Positive Alternative Setting program and the In School Suspension program. She has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and is also a certified Crisis Prevention Intervention instructor and a certified Scotopic Sensitivity screener.
